Returns / Exchanges

Design Child would like you to be completely satisfied with your shopping experience.

If you are unhappy with an item you have purchased, or you find a gift unsuitable, you may return the item for a prompt credit, or exchange within 14 days of purchase. The credit or exchange will be to the value of the item, not including original delivery charges.

Credits and exchanges are given provided the item is in its original sealed, undamaged packaging, unworn, unused and with all tags and parts intact. Return delivery and postage costs of exchanged items are the customer's responsibility.

Please feel free to contact us if you wish to discuss our returns and exchanges policy, or if you have a special request in which you wish to purchase an item that you may subsequently wish to refund (rather than a credit or exchange). 

*We are unable to accept returns on SALE items, custom orders or seasonal items no longer in stock.

Please contact us prior to returning your item for credit/ exchange to obtain a reference number. We recommend returns are sent via registered mail, as we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in transit.

Please mail your return with a copy of your invoice and reference number clearly marked to -

Please include a self addressed, prepaid satchel for all exchange items.

In the rare event that your parcel should appear to have been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately following delivery to discuss your concerns at hello@designchild.com.au.

Please retain all packaging so that in the event of a claim, it may be inspected. Claims related to damaged goods must be made within 3 days of delivery, or we are unable to process a claim.
